Goddess Provisions Subscription Box Review – April 2017
It’s Goddess Provisions unboxing time! If you’re new to GP, it’s a vegan subscription box founded by the peeps from Vegan Cuts, and it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice”… it’s a mega fun and unique box!
Goddess Provisions delivers a mix of 4-7 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course. You can check out all of my previous Goddess Provisions box reviews here.
Cost: $33 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. Peep their site to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.
April’s GP box theme is “Sun Energy,” and it includes a mix of items to help you “bask in the energy of the sun.”
April’s “Sun Energy” Goddess Provisions box includes:
Amethyst Orgone Pyramid, $20 – I’ve always been intrigued by orgone everything. Seriously, check out the wiki page on this, it’s fascinating. These objects are intended to help neutralize energy from electrical devices, and this particular one is especially eye-catching. It’s made with amethyst and copper, and the little swirly bit makes it extra cute and display-worthy.
The Coal Miner’s Daughter Live by the Sun Mist, $18 – I’m an essential oil nut – I use them daily! This EO spray smells gorgeous and very spring-y. It has a blend of of rose water, bergamot, and citrus essential oils intended to reduce stress and nourish your skin (you can spray this in your space or on your body).
Miss Violet Lace Energy Perfume, $20 -Gah, I love the little flowers in the bottle. It adds such a nice touch, right? This perfume oil has a happy and uplifting blend of jasmine, lemon, grapefruit, sweet orange, and lime essential oils.
Andalou Naturals Konjac Sponges, $8 – While I adore konjac sponges because they’re all-natural and eco-friendly, lately I’ve personally been very into exfoliating loofah-style scrubbers. I like to save these for the kiddos though, because they’re gentle on the skin and they’re kind of squishy and fun to play with. Also, how cute is the heart-shaped one? 🙂
Lemon Ginger Macaroons by Emmy’s Organics, $3 – So I’m not the biggest fan of eating coconut for dessert. I friggin’ love to drink coconut water, luuurrrrve coconut curries, and I religiously smear coconut oil all over my body, but coconutty treats don’t usually have the same appeal for me. Anyhoo, I split these with my 2-year-old, who was definitely a huge fan! He actually freaked when the bag was empty because he wanted more, lol.
Healthforce Vitamineral Green Superfood Complex, $4 – I live for superfood supplements I can add to my morning smoothies. Since I probably don’t eat enough salads (ha, I know I don’t), this is the only sure-fire way to get the mighty power of greens in my bod. This superfood powder is loaded with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, chlorophyll, and tens of thousands of phytonutrients.
Sunstone, $4.50 – One of my favorite parts of Goddess Provisions is that they include a different healing crystal in each box. This month it’s sunstone, which is supposed to carry the qualities of light and promote a sense of abundance and enjoyment in life. It’s not one of the more stunning, eye candy-like pieces of rock, but I definitely appreciate what it stands for.
Overall impression: This month’s box was sunshine-y and fun! And my name is Sunny so the bar was set high, lol. The total value of this box is $78 and faves included the orgone pyramid, supergreens blend, and aromatherapy mist, but everything was pretty rad and will get used.
What do you guys think of Goddess Provisions? If you love what you see, you can sign up here to start receiving this monthly box, too.
